Has anyone pre-ordered from Steam yet? I was wondering what how long the D/L was taking.

I'm not at home now, I'm in Germany(studying). So when I get back, I'm gonna be doing some massive upgrade stuff. Thanks for the info about Westmere's, I won't probably afford them, but with their arrival hopefully current i7 stuff will get some reduction.

I'm making a co-op mission right now, all that is left to do is a briefing file, and ofcourse some playtesting.
However i dont have a clue how the new briefing file works, or where to find.
Just as i got used to the briefing.html from OFP/ArmA they change it into something else
Anybody got any clue as to how it works?

ArmA 2's editor is a lot like the one in Operation Flashpoint.
Basically it is the same one but with new additions like Game Logics which can be placed in the editor that take care of various things for you, like removing dead bodies if you leave their proximity, randomly generate animals or humans, to even generating a random war around you:p

So that part has become a tad easier.
However the need for scripting is still there, for example i had to use a fairly big script to get HALO drops to work.
The basics of dressing your mission are very easy though, placing units and their waypoints is very easy.
It's putting the dot's on the i's that's the hard part.
