Need a bit of help..
I don't want to bother with the Steam forums cause, ugnhhunhg (if you know what I'm saying).
What I'm trying to do is publish a screenshot to my Friends profile. Now, I took the screenshot from within RO, not with the Steam overlay screenshot function. The screenshot is in my RO screenshot folder and I don't see anyway to publish it to my Friends profile. I'm afraid the only way to publish screenshots is if you take the screenshot with Steams' overlay thingy. Can anyone confirm this?

Yo. Here's what I found out after a bit of hacking around.
You should have a folder like this:
\Steam\userdata\<long number>\760\
That will contain in addition to remotecache also a screenshots.vdf
There's a 'remote' folder there. It will contain the steam appid numbers for the screenshots & thumbnails. For RO for instance the full path will be:
\Steam\userdata\<long number>\760\remote\1200\screenshots\thumbnails\
Try this; close Steam. Put the shot you want to upload in the screenshots folder for your chosen app and a thumb in the thumbnails. Don't know if the thumb really needs to be resized but it needs to be there as it seems to be indexed from there. Try putting just a copy there.
Start Steam up and it should index the file and you should be able to upload it from the screenshot manager. Worked for me, YMMV, no rights given or implied etc
Hmm, okay I tried both a .bmp and a .jpg of the screenshot I wanted to upload into both of these places -

..booted up Steam, and when I open the screenshot manager it doesnt show anything inside. Might the images need to be .png to work?
