Yes, take my post and take everything out of context so you can make this cool post. I said that I thought Hangover 2 was awesome as a funny movie to watch with friends, wheras in my opinion District 9 failed in it's category, which is something completely different.
Just got back from a friday shift at the Call Center at the Airliner where I work.
Friday is the day where the worse freakin idiots call:
- This woman calls, she says "Hello i ordered a ticket to Germany and im really worried because they said the cucumbers are lethal and my ticket is non-refundable"
So I say "Lets see the ticket" she gives me the details, i load it up
"Err, ma'am.. your ticket is to Vienna" I reply
She gets pissed off and yells "YEA? W-H-A-T ARE YOU TELLING ME?
I say "Vienna isnt in Germany, you can travel anywhere you want in europe with this ticket"
"Who the f..k wants to go to Europe anyway?!" she yells almost in an insane voice..
I say "You did, you ordered a flight to Austria"
she yells "Are you f..king with me?"
and hangs up

Anyone noticed how most modern games are **** these days. I bought a new pc after 6 years, played GTA IV, Batman, Fear 2, Mirror's edge and Tropico 3. They're not bad but they can't entertain me as games used to so I've been playing Minecraft again on my brand new pc. Reinstalled RO and reinstalling KF. RO 2 better be good!
Shooters used to be my favorite genre. But it seems like developers, in fear of having their game deemed "just another FPS" are constantly resorting to unnecessary or over-complicated game mechanics to make the game seem fresh. In really just bores the heck out of me. In a basic shooter, I don't want to worry about dumb gimmicks, weapons with more than two functions, unnecessary deployable turrets, customizable weapons, or baby-sitting NPCs who are supposed to fight alongside me.
I still have a ton of fun with the original Half-Life because it's a pretty straight-forward shooter in which some degree of thought was put into Black Mesa and the design of the game in general. I can be interested in what's going on around me while having fun killing enemies with an assortment of simple weapons. I have no problem managing things in RPGs, in fact, most of my top games from the past five years are RPGs or games with RPG elements like STALKER. But while STALKER is indeed a shooter, the pace is much more ideal for managing more than just shooting. It doesn't work for a fast paced shooter.
I totally agree. I've spent ****loads of money on games I didn't like or even played through, just trying to find a decent game. I dont know if I'm getting old or they just don't make 'em like they used to.
I guess I have to spend my summer AFK
mind=blown I was actually gonna make a thread about it. Where are all those awesome games with great story lines like Max Payne for instance. I think those game companies lean more toward money these days and just go with easy ideas that will not be too controversial and that reach the wider audience to make the most money. I'm sick of all those fancy games about future robots, fantasy dragons, knights etc etc. I wish they made a sequel of classic game like Kingpin life of crime with the same concept but on the engine of RO so no stuff like croshairs and such. I wish there were more games like kingpin or max payne with this dark style and gritty atmosphere.

Saw Deep Purple in concert a few nights ago at the PNC Arts Center in NJ. Really great show. If anyone has a chance to see them, don't pass it up!

. If only they would extend the show a bit more with a couple of songs more or some bigger solos (especially the organ solo, I didn't want the rest of the band to come back when he started). My only complain is about Gillan's voice, I was right in front of Steve but I couldn't hear his highs at all. Either he is too old or the sound setup was not the best since the gig was in an outdoors ancient Greek theater. Surprised they booked a gig for such a small capacity theater actually, but it made it easier to get to the front so no complains Waiting for Sonisphere with Maiden now

Well, I, for one, was not aware of the fact that you were a filthy piece of incest, Crusher.
He even replied to my message, now he's claiming I'm a racist and a whore's son and other curses. And he also says i'm a keyboardgangster, acting all tough on the internet (the irony is stunning). I told my turkish gf to write him a message because he didn't believe me I had one and he also started cursing in turkish anyway.
