had my upper left wisdom tooth removed today. operation was a joke, the most pain was from the sryinge and other than that no pain at all, although i expect that to arrive within the next few hours

I had all four out at once. The dentist said they weren't impacted when he read the X-Rays before the surgery. Well, it turns out that they all were quite impacted. 9 days before I could close my mouth all the way to chew.

Letting someone set me up with her boyfriend's sister. Apparently she has been talking me up and now this woman wants to meet me. I'm always skeptical, but what the hey. I was just sent a picture of her and she is pretty enough for someone around my age (45), not really my type as I'm more into petite brunettes, but I've been single for a bit so...

I look closer and it appears she has a severe case of man-hands.

Oh F#@k me...

I just know this won't end well and I will probably come off looking like an *** :(

Anyone else here think that most of the movies nowadays made are just plain retarded?

Thats because they are made with the same mentality that was behind CoD.

I thought about buying a new TV, with full HD and all... but the lack of viewing material made me change my mind.

Better save the dosh for a PC to play HOES and Skyrim :)

I initially thought the recent large scale emergence of comics (superheroes) on the movie scene would be great. Now it just seems everyone is trying to make some super mega 3D blockbuster with so much action, even if the movie ends up having a decent story line you would never notice it.

Anyways, I want to see more movies concentrate on substance even at the expense of all the extra flash.

That's why I said most movies nowadays. I wish people would bring back the movies that take a long time to end, like the Lord of the Rings (God I love that trilogy) Star Wars, Harry Potter- even though it ain't finished. Indiana Jones, just to name a few. You don't see many movies like that.

Yet there are so many good books that could provide a series, you've got the Warhammer 40k universe, so many people are a fan, why not take the books and make some long-A** series out of it? (not animated). I heard somewhere Lucas should make a new Start Wars series Knights of the Old Republic, but it seems he is too busy profiting on "3D".

That concept makes me want to punch a bus with a super stick....
