of the 8 years I cycled to school every day, in the rain, snow, storm, wind, etc. Having the wind in my face was far the worst. Sure arriving at school soaking wet sucks but at least that dries up. Arriving at school late and getting a warning or detention for it because I had the wind in my face is something else. When I graduated and followed an education 12 km away I cycled to it every day too for a year. One day when cycling home it was raining really bad, a ****load of rain was pouring out of the sky. After half an hour of cycling in it I realized I was so soaking wet I couldn't soak up any more rain. So I started to laugh because after all the **** that fell on me it didn't matter anymore, I won. To arrive home after cycling for 40 min in weather you wouldn't send your dog in feels good. Keeps a man strong. Also one time I cycled in a storm with wind up to 120km/h. Had to go through some trees that were fallen over but I had to stop halfway because I couldn't keep my bike straight.
Then I got a car and now I rarely cycle.
