Start an Empire: Total War campaign.
It takes attention for extended periods of time. Total War games are IMO really helpful with those things.
or a good book
like
a song of ice and fire? (dont know the name correctly)
Only problem with that is that if you get really wrapped up in the story, then you finish the book or the series you can feel a sort of let-down that can lead right back into depression.
It doesn't go quite that far for me, but I do definitely get a sense of 'well ****, what am I supposed to do now?' when I finish reading something long. I just finished the currently available volumes of Song of Ice and Fire last night, and definitely had a little bit of ... perhaps ennui is the right word. None of the other books that I had available really sounded interesting.
Started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies this morning, though.
Oh god yes, I've had this quite oftenOnly problem with that is that if you get really wrapped up in the story, then you finish the book or the series you can feel a sort of let-down that can lead right back into depression.

Meet some new girls and/or get in a relationship. Even if it's just superficial, you'll at least feel more alive (for some time). It's as simple as that really, and not to hard to achieve either. If your life pretty much blows atm you have nothing to lose, so feel free to take risks.
Now its time to get a job or get a hobby that you are passionate about.
Otherwise, find something that requires you to exert yourself so that you are exhausted when you get home. Plant a flower or vegetable garden for your mother. Get off your ***. Problem solved.![]()

Without the songs though. That's a lot of orange going on there - looks like Bruno meets the oompah-loompahs.
Laughing about sad existences who are getting their daily dosis of joy of life from voting people's comments down and attempting to troll someone on a random internet forum does indeed keep me busy at times.
Don't see where the hate is now coming from again out of all sudden. Doesn't cast a good light on certain members' characters.
