xD really? that is sad, but somehow hilarious in how sad it is :(:p

If the president makes a speech specifically addressing this, and all the news stations are blaring it, this is something solid...and also a stupid time to point fingers. We should be coming together, hoping to at last be finished with the Taliban (and hopefully the wars).

true =/ that is the problem with killing anyone like this. But hopefully his money and influence being gone might help with the breakdown of the movement. Of course, it is far, far from over, but hopefully this is a milestone in bringing this 10-year war to an end.

it's not about how al queda takes this, it's about the morale boost among us and its allies.

no one had any illusions from the beginning that killing him would change anything. he was merely a symbol that needed to be removed.

make the terrorist realize that as elusive as they want to be, there's a missile with their name on it reading to strike them as soon as they're found. hard to communicate effectively when your options are getting stripped away.

Most of the youth i see nowadays disappoint me dearly.

Drinking to get drunk, inability to use English well, addiction to Carl On Duty instead of Killing Floor, their dress sense, the fact they think rap is some kinda of godly art form.

The world's gone westie around me :(

Does anyone know how to make your hair stand on end due to static, but without using a balloon? I'm stuggling to find a method. :c

(It's an experiment and I may post the long-lasting results)

aye, the whole "dround yourself in alcohol" thing never really was all that exciting anyways; I mean, there's buzzing, there's a little but drunk, and then there's the kind of 'popular' drunk where you black out as fast as possible and basically act as if you were AIMING for all the nasty alchoholic side effects.

EDIT: also, I have my AP's for this year done! :D Chemistry has been hard, but I think I did well. Of course, this year ain't finished yet, but hopefully soon

Stand on an insulated step and put your hands on a Van Der Graaff generator. Your hair ends will accumulate charge and repel each other, causing your hair to rise.

N.B. this would not work if you have greasy hair. Also be very careful to ensure that you have been properly earthed before carrying on with your life, you can build up a pretty high potential with a vdG generator.

if you don't have a generator, old style synthetic carpets often work with synthetic shoe soles so just drag your feet around an old building for a few minutes but do NOT try and open a metal door handle or anything during that time - you WILL get a jolt.
