Are they finally doing another album? I went through a phase last month where I was just listening to Metallica at work on my laptop. When I get to St. Anger, though, I just can't force myself to listen to it. Worst album ever, just about.
Well, I was told I was "intimidating" today
I mean, come on, sure I'm tall, but since when in hell does that make me intimidating...unless I'm for some reason somehow threatening without knowing it. I mean, come on, do I seem threatening to you?
Well, actually the one on the bottom looked pretty cool, but gold only works when you go all the way (and make it look more than just gilding or paint)

Timmy you seem about as threatening as a lost puppy, but then again I've never seen what you look like and you do sound like a rapist on voice chat. It can be interesting to ask someone what their first impression of you was. I am often told "I thought you were an asshole", but I've heard a few other interesting and hilarious things.
By the way was it a coworker who told you this? My coworkers mostly had a different impression of me compared to people I meet elsewhere.

St. Anger has some good songs.
However, my guitarfriend has pointed out to me that they didn't even tune the guitars.
And my ears pointed out that Lars tuned the snare too much.
Also, one particular gun i like:

I don't know I think special plated shiny looking guns look ridiculous, what is the point? I much prefer one that has a practical look to it or even one that looks beaten up and battleworn.

My voice + broken microphone = never a good idea

. Usually the first impression seems to vary, from "you look like an okay guy" to "I like your voice" to 0.0 oh sh**. I don't get why, I've never hurt anybody or threatened and I've seen much sketchier and larger people than me. I mean, come on, I'm pretty non-threatening, and my voice is only sketchy on mic.Go figure
