I must agree with Drakon here, in the case of my parents they work so that they can build a better future for their children which includes proper studies without the distraction of having to survive or hardly have money to pay the rent, therefore avoiding any bad experience they might had. Sure some people manage this sort of hardship and good for them, but I think its better to have 100 good doctors than 1 excellent doctor.

Of course I don't go out every night getting blind drunk and throwing away money on parties...

Went to the shop to buy a new cellphone, came back home with a new cellphone, microsd memory, a microsd reader and a nice bag to hold my cellphone. They were sooo nice at the shop. Normally I don't spend any money anyway and I was tired of having a secondhand cellphone from my dad.

Getting an insane storm here in NY, and in numerous other states as well apparently. My classes are cancelled tomorrow so I'm going to sleep in, play BC2 all day then make chicken cacciatore for dinner. Snow days are awesome. :cool:

Searching for survivors.
I just got back from doing karaoke. I only got to get in one song since it was my first time and I was nervous, I waited too long to sign up. I sang Self Esteem, by the Offspring. I beasted the first half of the song but the second half I started losing my voice since I was belting it out. That song was harder then I thought it'd be! It was still pretty hilarious though and I had lots of fun which was the goal. People were laughing and singing along with me, it was so awesome. I can't wait to go again.

You americans are always getting storms! I was off the coast of Miami during hurricaine Elle then the next year I kept getting hit as I was sailing from San Fran up to Alaska. Dont tend to get that level of windy stuff over here . .although we did have the worst snow for 25 years back in early December. For now, its raining. It rains more than anything here in Scotchland.
