That's just because the nerd is a role and he has already written down the dialog before he goes on cam plus its a character he probably enjoys playing, these wee vids are not edited the same as the nerd one also he doesn't put any direction into them.

Overall I like them but as you say its weird seeing him not as the nerd although he looks like a cool guy.
