[Question] Textures loading slowly.

As above, textures are loading really slow, even in middle of battle i can see some HORRIBLE textures of soldiers, even though im playing on highest details. I think it happened after one of the updates, not sure.
Is it my graphics card getting old or...?

It's a memory thing, the textures aren't being stored for the whole match and need to be reloaded. What's the VRAM on your graphics card and the RAM for your PC?

I have 4 gigs of RAM, and I'm not sure of my graphics card VRAM... It's Radeon HD 5770 if that helps.
It used to work fine btw.

After looking a little more into it, it's the fault of the engine really, your PC's RAM meets the requirments. Unreal Engine 3 is well known for "texture pop-in" and I'm not too sure there's much you could do about it.

The only thing I could think of is make a note of your current graphics settings, then delete the ROEngine.ini file found in "DRIVE:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\RedOrchestra2\ROGame\Config".
Start the game up, set your graphics settings again and then try the game out, see if it makes a noticable difference.

Tried that, didn't work very well.
I set everything to Ultra, this is what comes up:

How long into the battle is this? And how long does it stay like that?

5-6 minutes in a match, it stays like that for ever after.

Try changing the settings for Anti-Aliasing, perhaps turning it completely off.

Unfortunatly, I'm running out of ideas, let's hope someone else can come in and help.

You could change in the ROEngine.ini under [TextureStreaming] PoolSize=140 to PoolSize=512, if you have 1GB VRAM or PoolSize=256 with 512MB VRAM.

Shouldnt be worse. Might just be the HD5770 I dont really know much about this card, but the benchmark I saw wasnt that good.
Dont know on what graphics settings you play, but I have a HD6850 which is I guess 50%+ faster card and I use a mix of high seetings with Low shadows and no AA.
You should experiment with different graphic setting on medium. Also graphic driver up to date?

All graphic card drivers are up to date. Also, somehow I manage to play on highest with about ~30 fps.

The first that comes up is delete your ro folder in my documents my games...

DO you have the 1G or 512MB version of the 5770?
