Well, I'm posting from Spain my first post in the forum, and I'm sorry that it has to be here. I bought killing floor (congratulations, it is a great game) a week ago (in the great sales from steam, you know). I experienced sometimes an isolated texture error that was partially solved by alt+tabbing. But since yesterday I am unable to play the game, because it always happens. It has no apparent trigger, it simply appears and ruins my game. I will post three images that I took this evening.

This happens in every map. I don't really have any remote idea for what can be happening. Here are my specs:

Core 2 Duo T8100 2'1ghz (each core)
3GB RAM DD3
Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS

I play with the graphic settings at maximum, but with the antialiasing and anisotropic filter deactivated. I never had a crash, lag, ralentizations, or any issue with the graphs.

Thanks!

It looks like your graphics card is overheating. I would suggest that you clean the fan / heatsink on it. You could also try verifying the game cache in case that has somehow become corrupt (right click game in Steam -> properties -> local files -> verify integrity of game cache).

I would try updating drivers. Who's the manufacturer of your card? PNY, Jaton, Elitegroup, Biostar, Galaxy, Sparkle, Palit, MSI, Zotac, Gigabyte, EVGA, XFX, Asus, BFG, etc?

Is anything in your rig overclocked at all? It does sort of look like artifacting due to hardware issues (though not like any sort of artifacting I've ever seen before--The green and black triangles are in the exact same spots in all 3 of your screenshots, which seems a little too regular).

Also, what renderer are you using? Direct3D 9, Direct3D, or Software (never ever use this, btw)? Have you tweaked any of your .ini files?
