I'll probably try playing everything equally, but I'll probably just stick to good ol' territories and MP campaign. I've never really liked single life gametypes but Countdown sounds like it could be worth a shot, firefight I don't imagine myself really playing at all after the start since team deathmatch just doesn't fit to RO in my opinion, but if it get more players interested in the game for me to own, then I'm fine with it being in the game :D

You're all acting silly about this game. Sound like a bunch of conservative hogs who just can't except the game departing slightly from its original rendition, as long as the main principles of the game stay which seems to be the case they're is no reason to get all picky.

The original RO was full of defaults, I love the game but it had many issues (its actually my favorite game, I have bin playing since ROost came out). One of them was people getting into a class they just had no idea how to use and they just wouldn't give up the class because they finally had the're chance!!! I guess the ranking system adresses this but now the problem is the higher classes get all priority's and people won't get a chance trying out all weapons which is shame, you're not able to fully experience the game.

I hardly see TDM necessarily becoming snipe fests or smg fests, The great thing in RO was no matter what class you were, skill is what made the difference in who survived not equipement. The bad snipers will just be destroyed by the good snipers so bad snipers will eventually choose another tactic most likely other weapons, i'm thinking smgs to get up close. Even then the better sniper will probably win. :p

I think Firefight is actually something that was missing in RO, this is comming from an old timer! If you are going to be so conservative just stick to the old game, it won't change, don't come ruin my new, great looking and fun looking RO2.

Countdown for sure! But I am worried about it in 64 players server. With just 1 life and if you die first its kinda... annoying lol

Ill play territory the most, and pretty exited about countdown, but firefight maybe only 1 time, since the mode has no class limits so everybody will play sniper or something. No thanks

I can see countdown mode being very lobsided. Mostly because defending an objective is alot easier than attacking one. Personally I would have made the defenders have one life, and the attackers several.

Territory Mode:
Countdown Mode:
Firefight Mode:

Firefight is the one i'm gonna play the less, even though it will be my first try once i get the game, so i can try the weapons a bit.
This mode will be very useful to let newcommers get familiarized with the game.
I'll play Territory and Countdown the most, even though countdown might discourage many people who don't really like waiting when they're dead, for this matter I hope Spectate mode is well builded, RO1 was great but I had much trouble with this, it wouldn't let me spec players as I wanted to.

The MP/Coop campaign might beat these ones tho :p

If bots are as good as they say (and we can't trust them, they're TWI afterall) there are good chance, yes. :D

Not so much with penetration and a well implemented suppression system, time will tell of course :)

oh that would be a pain, but at least it goes for 2-3 minutes so you don't have to spend TOO long in the queue :p

depends on how crowded the map is. I think it's one of those hypobolic curves or whatever, where it streches down in the middle, because on unpopulated servers everyone camps, and on the overcrowded servers they'll snipe because an endless meatshield prevents them from being flanked :D

Territory Is great, and really looking forward to countdown, as the single life component is intriguing.

Countdown, with the realistic setting and some good server options it will be awesome with only one life per round

I think that's what they did, the commander can spawn 3 waves of attackers while the defenders can't, lemme find my source
