Terrible Tragedy In Norway

I never imagined yesterday the sheer magnitude of this tragedy. It's just too horrible to think about, it's completely incomprehensible. When I woke up this morning and read the news I couldn't hold back the tears, it was just too much. Worst thing is the kids, I can't stop thinking about it, they are mostly just teens out there to be with friends.

I am going downtown tonight, there will probably be some improvised memorials.

Personally it wasn't really a surprise that it was a right-winger that did it, they've blown bombs in Norway before. I would be surprised if he did all this alone, all the planning needed.

There is some of his comments translated into english on this site:
http://dougsaunders.net/2011/07/political-thinking-anders-behring-breivik/http://dougsaunders.net/2011/07/political-thinking-anders-behring-breivik/

Seems pretty contradictory, constantly claims he hates multiculturalism, mostly marxists+islam and rages for being branded racist beacuse of being anti-multiculturalism, although encourages assimilation of immigrants. He seems to condemn Nazi ideology as equally as he condemns muslim and marxist ideologies (page 3-4 of the document), saying "ALL hate ideologies should be treated equally".

Hard to believe he held John Stuart Mill and Winston Churchill as a hero on facebook and twitter.

It seems the Chantry wasn't enough for Anders... But seriously, it's a shame there's no death penalty in Norway. If he had attacked politicians I'd understand, and if he had attacked politicians of my country I might have even supported it (I've always considered corruption=treason), but attacking civilians and intentionally killing them is just mass murder and there are no excuses for it.

Can't believe Amy Winehouse's death is more popular than this on BBC.
