the numbers are way less... wayyy less. any explanation for such an exaggeration???

You're kidding right? There were over 70 maps submitted for wave two. If that isn't a mass influx I don't know what is

Does it matter. Hospital Horror and Carryonup are clear joint winners. Grimpen second and suburbia/The Darkestroad third. Props to the pretty maps but they don't have the stamina (that's what the wife says).

hospital horror: it was nice in wave 1, but again? with more blood? i think wave 2 is looking for something different.

carryonup is nice but its more tedious than it is relaxing. stairs stairs stairs, up down up down up down, stairs stairs stairs. brewery was arramus real shining star.

grimpen - lag. not just in one area, but the whole map, but it looks very KF which is nice!!

suburbia - i played that in L4D i think.

the darkest road - again, it was nice, but again? with more blood? i think wave 2 is looking for... well you get the picture.

PS: i miss maul, we need his criticism again.

shinobis maps are good. but not challenging. his mapping style is more suited for KF mod zombies - which were alot tougher, and didnt fall like flies. shopping mall was perfect for the mod, but now its EASY. etc etc etc. people seem to like these easy maps because it lessens their rage quit habit.

He also stated that many still needed to be authorized by moddb, so you can't see them at the moment.

We're going through the submissions now. It looks like we might have had a bunch of duplicate submissions (you know mapper gets in a panic his submission didn't go through so he submits 3 times). We had 70+ submissions, but when we weed through them all there might only be 48. We'll let you know.

You doubt my baking skills? I'm like Betty Crocker in the kitchen. Give me an oven mitt, some all purpose flour and a couple cookie sheets and I'll bring the fire. You won't even see it coming, paralyzed in a daze and by the time you come to I'm sliding out trays of cookies you don't even wanna know about. Believe that ****. Sugar? Peanut Butter? Semi-sweet chocolate chips and butterfrosting? My arsenal knows no limit. I've got racks of imported French wax paper so them ****s don't stick down, I get them looking real nice and beautiful like it's some fancy food magazine, but it's not. It's for warriors only. exactly hahaha. no but really, i put teh count just to sound easy going, care free, i also put the picture of the count from sesame street to reinforce that, just so ramm doesnt think that im outraged or anything, because im not, just wanted to know what the deal is, i couldve just msg'd him about it but maybe some of you were wondering also why theres 48 maps instead of over 70 maps.

and i must admit, moddb was having some weird troubles uploading, i had to upload KF-Oviamoire like 7 times until it finally worked the way it should.

I think that Multifarious looks good and is fun to play too. For me it's easy to pick a winner.

Seriously though, loved the competition. So many talented people here. It's tough making a map with a time limit like that. I will never pirate a game knowing the stress designers endure for their babies.
