When I was in high school I took a typing class on an Apple ][e. The iMac / eMac were not introduced until a couple years after I graduated from college.

Lucky you then. The ones at my schools always crashed on us, on top of that they were always slow as heck. Also as being too used to linux/windows, having to go through like 4 different tabs to be able to find the shutdown option was annoying.

This. I stick with cheap "crappy" cell phones. When I'm hanging out with my friends I don't need to be on the internet. Already waste enough time on there .

Plus, that way, if I lose it (I'm extremely absent minded), it's no biggie.
