Team Tanking incentives

I really enjoyed pub team tanking when I wasn't in a tank with an idiot. My guess is this will be even more rare with tank locking.

I hope there will be incentives for team tanking, like the for manual bolting. I think ROOST already has a speed advantage on the reloading when team tanking. Something along those lines, speeding up reloads on the main gun even more, or speeding up MG reloads. Of course that requires speeding up the 1st person animations, so that might not be feasable.

Personally I hope that servers can optionally force that there will be no tank AI, that would then automatically require people to team up more. Due to the switching times.

And as to the speeding up things, why not making it the other way round. AI crew takes longer to reload, or has accuracy handicap, thus you wouldn't have to change first person animations, when only the bots take longer to do things.

But yeah, I hope there will be enough team tankers running around, i hate it when people jump in a tank and drive off alone, park the tank in a corner and then they stay there until the end of the round. With other team tankers it actually feels better and is more immersive.

Well at the very least, you'll get a situation awareness boost with real players. I can't imagine the tank commander AI pointing out where spotted tanks are. But who knows?

Well, apparently team tanking will be forced in ROHoS since the crew spawns already inside the tank and I like it this way xD

I hope there will be something like fireteams, where team owner can invite friends or other players and play together in same tank.

In Ramm's interview, he mentioned you don't have to worry about having to team tank with idiots, since you can lock the tank. So I don't think it's going to be forced.

Well another Advantage of Players over AI is that they can act without being ordered, for example moving the Tank into cover when needed.

Though the ability to act without orders can also be the biggest downside of another Player in the Tank :D.

Some of the best times I've had in RO was when we were three in a tank.

I am personally really waiting for the tank side of things to develop.
