Not to be nit picky and I don't know the specs of the tanks involved, but width is just one variable in the equation of soil compaction or floatation with regards to treads, tracks or tires. Vehicle weight and track length (and to some degree track suspension) come into play. Its all about the psi or kg/cm^2Increased speed on roads, yes. Being bogged down maybe but soviets would have the upper hand because of T-34's wider tracts compared to P4.
