Tank Museum volunteering

As stated on the front page(s), we are helping the Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset to get together the set of models they need for their new virtual museum. This thread is for people to volunteer their services, models and help.

We will be channeling all this energy for the museum, collecting suitable models and passing them on. Anyone willing to donate their models WILL need to sign a contributor agreement/release to cover the legal bits and pieces. That shouldn't be anything too complex - we'll get that together in the not-too-distant future. The models will ONLY be used by the Tank Museum for their virtual museum.

Any other general questions, please fire them up in this thread.

For a number of reasons - one is to display on the web, another is to have available for disabled visitors at the museum itself - and also to show people interiors they wouldn't normally see.

Actually, I believe they are planning to combine the two museums into one, to save money. Future visitors will be treated to the sight of a Tiger being driven by a troop of macaques.

Btw, if you would cooperate with military-meshes.com it could help a lot since that forum is full of military models of all kinds, and artists might be happy to help the museum

Yes, the Char would be useful. Thinking about it, so would the King Tiger. Not sure why it isn't on the list - perhaps Bovington's KT isn't in the main hall - I'll ask them!
