I want a voice menu similar to roost and tribes if you know what I am saying like press keys instead of the damn radial menu. Radial menu is slow and take the whole god damn screen but if you had voice command similar to tribes/ut/roost it would be much better...

It was more fun when all the voices actually came from players using the voice menu in RO1.Now its a bit overtuned , i hear the same phrases over and over again said automatically. For the first few hours its nice but after a while im pretty fed up with that.I know you can turn it down but then i have just less of the same.

Even when you turn it to "critical" only, your character still blathers on about "look, look what they've done to our homes!". Is that critical?

And the voice menu is horrible. At least it should be like the suit menu in crysis where you select an item by just dragging the mouse and not having to click on it.

That's true, and another problem with this is that automatic commands reveals your position. Can be quite devestating if you've picked an important spot and your character starts screaming ''RELOADING!!!'' like an idiot.

In ROost you heard really take cover but in RO2 you hear artillery !!!
And i want to shout / hear take cover.

Yeah it's a bit odd how you're being suppressed by a sniper, and you want to warn your teammates to take cover and he shouts artillery. Seriously something that wasn't thought out very well.

All these totally useless and much too frequent automatic voice messages are also adding extra load to server and player cpu's, get rid of them all, they're not needed.
Even the bots talk to themselves, wtf is all that about.

The current voice command menu is waaaay to meagre.

They should add:
- Covering fire
- MG!
- Sniper!
- Go go go!
- Grenade!
- Fire in the hole!
- etc

And not in a fricking widget it's so clumsy.

I used to not like the ROOST system much but compared to the current radial menu I miss it. It would be nice to have both systems in as options.

This suggestion would improve it to some degree but might be hard with multiple levels to the menu.

The new system is... OK, but I much preferred the way ROOST did it. Many more options that are more precise:

Take Cover could be Artillery or Grenade, Enemy Spotted was much more precise etc etc.

... not to mention it was more out of the way and not centered in the middle of the screen. I have died many times trying to use the new way maneuvering the mouse to the correct response.

Someone needs to explain the OP to me, I don't understand it. I would guess it meant in RO1 we heard artillery coming and took cover, but we do that in RO2 as well so that's probably wrong.

When you press "take cover" the PC yells "Artillery". Cover is not only used to protect you from artillery :). But snipers, MG's, nades etc
