I think some ppl didn't realize that not only the part which you aim at the enemy tank is important; you have to hit in the right angle too.
The enemy did.
1-2 shot.
Hell my tank is crap.

The sewers of Leningrad.
The only reason I don't tank in RO2 is because there is no teamwork, just a commander and an AI crew, in their locked tank, destined to get destroyed in a matter of seconds.

Learning your tools is the key to success.

The T34 isn't weak, just less intuitive than the Panzer (drive forward > Shoot enemy > Win).

What i really can't understand is why most T-34 drivers drive, while not looking out of their turrets. Seriously, the better view is totally worth needing a few seconds longer for your first shot.

putting same amount of skill that takes driving t34 good into pz4 and you will destroy same t34 with same skill

Not true, the Panzer is slower, less maneuverable, and a higher profile tank than the T34. Just because it's more straightforward doesn't mean it's outright better. If a T34 can work behind you with it's speed and low-profile, you're toast in the PIV.

Think about it this way. Both sides have good SMGs, but people rage about the MP40 a lot more than the PPSh because the MP40 is more straightforward. You can hit with it accurately at a good range, it's more versatile, and it's more in-line with how guns in other games handle. Does this mean the PPSh is worse? No. It just requires a different set of strategies to play well.

Same thing with the PIV v T34. People expect tanks to be unstoppable lumbering monoliths that plug away at each other from range, but this isn't the case with the PIV/T34 matchup. The PIV handles like tanks in a lot of other games, a big, hard to kill, lumbering monster. The T34 is light and fast, with less frontal armor and a smaller gun. Just because you can't match the PIV blow-for-blow in a stand-up fight doesn't mean that it's impossible to win with the T34. It just means that the PIV is better at long range, stand-up fights.

My first time out on Grumrak, I scored 4 PIV kills not because I'm some uber tanker (this was my first time behind the controls) but because I knew how the T34 matched up against the PIV. I got in close, hid amongst the buildings, and then quickly circle-strafed the PIVs and spanked them in the rear before they could draw a bead on me.

A lightweight can beat a heavyweight boxer, he just can't use the same "punch him in the face till he falls down" strategy that the heavyweight can.

Grumrak is not the problem here, we are (atleast I am talking about other maps with tanks + inf)

Well, it's the same situation as in Grumrak, but with fewer hostiles, hence, even easier. Stalk around, avoid the PIV, get around to his sides, and pop him in the ammo case. Just make sure you have infantry support to protect you from AT infantry and you're golden.

We had an excellent T34 commander on ROFactory yesterday. He moved at the center of the infantry formation providing fire support and advancing with the infantry. When the PIV got cocky and tried to close in for some easy kills, he ducked behind some box cars, circled around, and spanked it in the *** while the infantry kept his attention.

Don't get into up-front fights with PIVs. You'll lose. Fight smart.

From those screens the sum of all axis kills actually outnumber the allies kills...
