I love this game, everything about it.



BUT, I think that switching weapons goes a bit too fast...being able to switch to a grenade, throw that, fire a rifle round, then pistol whip somebody is annoying.

I think it should take a bit more time to shoulder your rifle, and pull out a grenade, what do you think?


(And also, being picky, the guns have no sling on the model, but you shoulder them when you switch weapons :p)

Well I said slow down so they could add some nitpicky detail, like the person placing the shoulder strap of the rifle on his back, or holstering the pistol in his side carraige, or opening his bag and grabbing a grenade. This would be better than let's say taking out your mg from an invisible infinitely sized magical pocket

They can slow down weapon switching when they add shouldering. IRL it doesn't take long at all to move a weapon that is slung on your back to the hip position.

Thats true byteme but you have to remember you may have to put away your pistol first in the game, which will take some time.

I'm not really sure what I'd prefer, maybe I can answer in a couple weeks after playing some more.

This next comment is slightly off topic but similar in a way..... slow down how fast a tanker can get out of his tank. They just *pop* out with SMG blazing away...

to stay on topic, I think the weapon switching speed is fine, but if it were slowed down a bit, it shouldnt affect gameplay too much while being a touch more realistic.

They can slow down weapon switching when they stop having your character pull out a SECOND GRENADE after throwing the first one.
