I just added a few new videos to my Youtube collection. It's me shooting my SVT40 and my friend shooting my M95. He's in uniform because he had just got back from drill.

Here's the SVT40...

...and here's the M95. We forgot to replace the batteries so we only had four of the five shots recorded.

Also here is what happens to a modern US military helmet when you shoot it with an 8x56r round!

Enjoy!

Is that the game I did the audio recording for? I can't remember, it's been awhile. Although that rifle was made in 1916. It was cut down in the 30's when it was converted to 8x56r. I do have an M95 long rifle. A Steyr made in 1917, but the stock it pretty plan and it's not in as good condition.

nom you recorded the sounds for us ;) www.carpathiancrosses.com

Thanks, it's been so long I had them mixed up.

I just noticed that the SVT video picked up the muzzle brake in action. I wish I could have used my original video instead of the crappy youtube version but every time I print the screen the video shows up black. Here is the pic.

Using this same ammo. I've managed to get flames shoot out both sides of the muzzle brake. I'm going again this weekend and if I can get a shoot of it I'll post it here. I may try filming at dusk to make the flames more visible.

Here is a shot done just after sunset with an M44 using this same ammo.

Please ignore the "borrowed" street sign. :p
