Survivalist global rework

There were already many posts about survivalist rework, but I’ll try to give you new ideas about the whole concept of survivalist, so let’s start. I see survivalist as a very effective support perk giving its survival techniques to his teammates and can stand on his own. At first glance, this perk can be pretty much similar to medic (which is the only perk that can buff your team), but instead giving aura buffs to combat passive bonuses like reloading speed, weapon switching speed, recoil reduction, weapon firing rate etc. Adding its own unique grenade, implementing aura, chain reaction mechanics and unique skills will sure place survivalist in team roster.

Passive bonuses:

+15% global weapon damage

+25% global damage resistance

Aura range (starting from 0 up to 5 m, each 5 levels + 1 m)

+75% zed time reload speed

The only change here is replacing heavy armor bonus with aura range to force survivalist to stick with team to give aura buffs.

Skills:

Level 5 - Inspiration

Left skill - Concentration - increase reload speed 25% weapon switching 25% and recoil reduction 25% (also applies to all your teammates and does not stack with other survivalist)

Right skill - Ferocious - increase damage 10% melee attack speed 15% (also applies to all your teammates and does not stack with other survivalist)

Level 10 - Survivalist gear

Left skill - Hunter - your grenade now becomes throwing knife. Throwing your knife at enemy will mark him and increase damage by 30 % for 5 seconds from all sources (throwing additional knife won’t increase damage, but will refresh timer on marked enemy. Damage does not stack with other survivalist, thrown knife can’t be recovered back)

Right skill - 2 variants: 1) Trapper - your grenade now becomes sticky grenade that can be put on any surfaces and will explode automatically when ZEDs walk near it. (Can be exploded manually by shooting it. Shooting it manually will increase damage and can be increased even further, if other multiple grenades are placed near and create a chain reaction increasing damage tremendously.) OR 2) Distractor - your grenade now becomes decoy grenade. Throwing your grenade will force all nearby zeds to surround and attack it for 10 sec (scrakes, fleshpounds and bosses are not affected by this grenade) - this grenade can be used in these scenarios: 1) when facing multiple large zeds and small zeds, throwing a grenade will make a breathing room for you and your team to kill large zeds during 10 sec grenade duration, 2) when kiting around the map, if all your teammates died, 3) on boss waves, because you really need to focus your fire on boss, and this grenade can be really useful

Level 15 - Equipment

Left skill - Supplies - increase ammo capacity 15% magazine capacity 15% and grenade capacity by 1. (also applies to all your teammates and does not stack with other survivalist)

Right skill - Protection - increase max health and armor by 15% (also applies to all your teammates and does not stack with other survivalist)

Level 20 - survival techniques

Left skill - Trigger finger - while a full health, increase weapon firing rate by 15% and decrease weapon spread by 25%, bonuses won’t work when below 100% health(also applies to all your teammates and does not stack with other survivalist)

Right skill - Death’s door - while your health is at 50% or lower, increase syringe recharge rate by 50% and 10% melee movement speed, bonuses will not work when above 50% health (also applies to all your teammates and does not stack with other survivalist)

Level 25 - Specialist Training

Left skill - Retribution (or Deflector) - During zed time any damage you receive will return back to your enemy with full damage (you will still receive full damage. Also applies to all your teammates) - for instance, if scrake hit you for 25% damage the same damage will be reflected back to scrake with same amount of damage.

Right Skill - Lockdown - Pretty much the same skill, except it applies to all your team and does not stack with other survivalist. (Means in zed time sharpshooter can apply stun more often, you can apply freeze more often, swat can apply cripple more effectively and so on.)

I think that’s all I can say about survivalist global rework. Make sure to leave your own opinion about certain skills, passives or whole rework in general. You can put your own ideas, considering survivalist rework.
