Yeah but weight would be the issue, not the light weapon to charge in with, hence support....

If you take a look at the list, it says that most of the times, this gun is attached at an helicopter. I wonder why

It's freakin' not realistic at all. Hand held minigun is a crap, old crap. Only cool big zeds can use it.

Hmm...

M134 Minigun
+ At least 100 bullets per belt/drum or what ever it uses
+ Maybe 300-500 capacity in total, depending how quickly it can fire
+ Around as powerful as AK per bullet, but fires a lot faster making it way more effective
- Weights 23 blocks so only lvl 6 support can carry it
- Cant have backup weapons with it (due weight)
- Cost something around

My own personal hell
@HaTeMe
Nice balancing but it kind of encroaches on the AA12 as an expensive mob weapon. Your really swapping weight (or rather, another gun), money, and reload time for larger clip, more ammo, and higher dps. Honestly I don't like it as a weapon because it costs way too much and discourages weapon diversity- assuming people use it, they don't use anything else.
Costing 6000 is deceptive since only level 6 can carry it anyway and assuming it got the discount it would cost roughly 1800.

Furthermore, supporty hardly needs anymore weapons and TWI is not putting very many people an KF right now so this would not be started until months from now, if ever.

This is absolutely insane. Nobody would use this if it weighed that much.

Support does not need a Minigun. You can play TF2 if you want a Minigun.

The OP sounded like he knew exactly what a bad idea this was.

This would be nice as a Mutator, but seriously, this does NOT belong in the actual game itself.

I had the idea to suggest a minigun too, recently. But then I realised it wouldn't fit with any of the current perk, so here's what I thought.

Heavy Gunner (Or whatever)
Principal role: Uses massively powerful weaponry
Principal weapons:
-Minigun:

  • Massive damage (but less damage per shot than Scar)
  • High ammo capacity
  • Slow reload
  • Has to be crouched(uses a tripod?) to use
  • Very long reload
  • High recoil
-Law:

  • Very limited ammo
  • Increadibly massive killing power (One hit almost kills a FP on suicidal 6)
  • Slow
  • Long reload
???

Perk would receive damage bonus for his weapons, increased accuracy with all weapons, a small reload speed bonus, and a weight decrease for his weapons.

By being slow and having limited mobility, he would not overlap with the Commando perk, as he can't defend himself on the move.

Bad idea.

Holy Nuts...When playing Hard you need money help of all your team mates to buy it.

Exactly my points. If the weapon is uberpowerful it should also be almost impossible to get in the game, but still be strong enough to be useful.

Im not rly in favour of this weapon but if a minigun was added it should be something beetween those lines.
