Mac Summer Update won't Install

For some strange reason i cannot download the new summer update. It just says that the download is paused but then never starts. Ive tried but it doesnt uninstall from steam or from my folder. Whenever i try and play the game, it has to verify the files and then brings up a message saying that the servers are too busy to handle my request. Ive got the same message for about a week now. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I had the same problem but for me the following procedure helped (first quit steam too):

1. Go to Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps

2. Delete the following files:
- killingfloorclient.ncf
- killingfloorcommon.ncf
- and also killingfloormacclient.ncf if it is there.

3. Move the killingfloor folder in Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/Common to the trash.

4. Now you should be able to re-install the game properly. At least, it did for me. Since your account is SteamAccount bonded, you shouldn't loose any important progress files in the procedure.

Hope it helps or helps other people with the same problem.

I've got the same problem, except there is no steam folder in application support. Could it have something to do with that I'm using a mac (i attempted to uninstall but now it won't even reinstall) or is the problem from something else?
