KF Summer event this year?

Someone official already said they are not finished with Killing Floor. So, I'm pretty sure there will be at least a summer event with new stuff. I consider it as the main event of the year.

There is no guarantee that we will have new achievements.

Is this your first time playing KF? The Halloween sideshow was only made for people to get SP MrFoster, yet they added new achievements.
Xmas 2013 didn't see anything new, but they added in map achievements.
The only event that didn't get anything new is Potato 2012 and we all know TWI doesn't care for that event

For the first time, no. I rather have had too much of it.
Still, there in no guarantee we will see new achievements. New achievements mean new content and this trend will come to an end eventually; now that KF2 has been officially announced this is even more likely. If it's not this summer it might be the event after.
Therefore, don't expect too much in the future and be happy with what we get/have already got.

It was a mass games crossover promotion event for Portal 2. TW cant help it if Valve doesn't put out a new Portal every year.

Just cause a new game is being released doesnt mean they are done with their game.
Black Ops 2 still gets updates and even Personalization Packs even with the reveal of Advance Warfare.
If it wasnt for their 4 map DLC licensing, im sure we would have had a 6th map pack DLC by now.

So there is no need to be a mr negative, we will see a Summer Sideshow, even if its just more community maps added in.

They could have a new map, or even some Zed reskins.
At lease they make it up by allowing those 2 achievements to be on during random times...

Because the completionists complained so much about not being able to get the achievements they missed. Also it was tied in with Steam's "Potato Sack Reunion" event.

Lol, you are interpreting a bit too much into my words. Is it negative to say that there is no guarantee for new achievements? I don't think so.
But yeah, your'e right, it does not sound like they will drop it this summer, but eventually.

I want the event. Some fresh air for the game. Just make 4 achievos for beating an existing map on all difficulties and call it a day.
