[Suggestion]To much STG and AVT

@ the mods being on a "power trip" theyre in damage control mode. hence all the locking/deleting/modifying/banning.

anybody thats smart is going to look at the hot topics and threads on here to see whats good and bad in this game before they buy it.

If joe schmo checks out the forums and sees hundreds of threads and posts about how bad the game is now. chances are he isnt going to buy it. they just lost a sale. and im sure theres going to be hundreds if not thousands of joe schmos checking out these forums in the next few months to decide if they want to buy this game.

its all about money now.

It's simply bloody disgusting how SIMPLE, BOLT ACTION RIFLES that were issued by the MILLIONS are the least used weapons in this game. Everyone gets to take an SVT, G41, MKB, MP-40, PPsH... what the hell happened to realism? God, I rarely ever get angry or complain about RO because I love the game(s) but this just freaking sucks. I don't feel like playing the game anymore.

I agree. I didnt care about the bugs but this is ridiculous. I was more exited about this game then any other game this summer and its not as good as it could be, because of small but annoying design decisions.

Personally I dont see the issue.

I agree that this could change the balance of the game to a point where I wouldnt be enjoying it for the reasons I bought it.

However, Im all for the different strokes for different folks category.
I think instead of putting in place things that will affect the overall game in EVERY mode, it would perhaps be nice to have the choice of playing in a more classic setting where limits are in place, yet its still ranked and scores are relevant.

I dont think getting into a debate about how you like to play, minute to minute is relevant or productive.
Fast run and gun matches, or slow paced strategic matches do not necessarily have to cancel eachother out.

Tripwire is great for adapting, and giving custom and mod servers access to a range of features, and I have no doubt youll see more stuff to do with it in the future.

For now though, Im pretty sure they are working on making the game more optimised and fun. These guys arent EA, or Rockstar with limitless funds and manpower, yet time and time again they provide superior gaming communities.

I doubt theyll forget the old schoolers, but they would be stupid to say no to a whole new market.

And if you really cared, you wouldnt deny them it either, because ultimately it just means that these great games will become greater.

Agreed.

This is quickly turning into one of those games I play for a few hours and then uninstall and forget about for years.

I'm pretty sure I bought a sequel to Red Orchestra: Ost Front. I'm not exactly sure what the garbage I got is.
