Tripwire don't have to give access to the beta, they don't have to give us updates throughout the day to keep us informed and they shouldn't have to see all the whining on here about how "it's not out yet, they said the 30th".

They don't owe us anything, they're hopefully making a great game and getting access to the beta a couple of weeks before it's full release is awesome! Having said that it's not the end of the world if it's a day or two late, you're still getting it early. You haven't paid for access to the beta so don't think it's your god given right to have it.

Keep up the good work Tripwire. I'm really looking forward to playing the game, but for now I'm going to bed and shall hope there's a download available at some point tomorrow.

i understand the issue, but i don't understand the means by wich you make the issue known to us. how is making a thread to moan about moaners any better than the threads you have an issue with?

I believe you'll find that as we were promised beta access when purchasing the game, they do. Selling something by lying about it is generally frowned upon

And they do owe us something in exchange for the money paid for the product they are providing. You know, the product we paid for. Not saying it has to be now. Just that it is generally expected

I'm not gonna get all mad at TWI but sir I think that statement is wrong because I did spend an extra $5 to play the beta.

I could have paid less, but I paid 40$ because it said "Exclusive access to the final phase of the beta!". I paid for the beta, that's what I mean, if it was only for the TF2 hats and KF skins I wouldn't have paid more, that's what I meant.

sigh, some people.. and then the rest just jumps on the bandwagon.

he meant tripwire didn't have to offer beta-access on the deluxe edition, they could've easily thought of something else. be glad you'll have the chance to play the beta, they could've kept it indoors til release.

The only reason I bought the deluxe was for early access. I don't give 2 shiny pennies about some guns that I will inevitably unlock myself when I'll be using Kar98 and Mosin 99% of the time.

This is why exactly you shouldnt make posts such as this one,you'r not helping anyone and just adding more fuel to the fire!!!!!!!!

I wish devs can work in peace and release the beta wiithout killing themselves,iven by any means releasing it few days later than the 30th.

Best is no posts like this and no complaining posts either,just try and keep your cool down guys.

i do have to say that the amount of *****ing on this forum has been excessive for the last two weeks. yes, you paid $40 for the game but no release date was given. the developers are all working hard so they can get it out as soon as they can. but they also have their own lives. many newcomers on the forum have been too harsh on a great developer who deserves more respect than they've been given. for goodness sake, we all want to play the game, but there are more we can do than beg a developer to release it.

personally, i think the beta should've only been allowed to pre-purchasers who owned RO1. it's great to see new people interested in RO, but they all think they own this place because they got the DDE.

They seem to have put themselves under a bit more pressure than they needed to by saying "maybe you will play within 24hours" yesterday, and its been a case of it could come out "any minute now" for a long time. I'm not bothered though really, I will play when its ready. I don't like hanging on when I think something is just around the corner though. I could wait for however long I need to its just the idea that it could come out at any time I don't like and then to find many hours have passed and I should have forgotten about it already for one day.

This is extremely mild though compared to some game release anticipations. I dunno if anyone was around for Insurgency mod first beta release? That was hellish. This is at least technically only a few hours late

We are not whining "I paid 40$ I want my beta NAO! :mad:" but we are arguing because somebody thinks that I give 5$ for a false publicity.
