better wait for 6 months, the game is not playable until then I guess. And even then they will rather anounce "a new game, now without bugs", so you can forget about polishing this alpha-version. Get prepared for another bull.

By a month or two, the game will be fully patched, and we'll be ready for another 4/5 years of fun

I'd rather download the game in one or two months, download one, small patch every week and play kind of finished game than download game now, download huge patches every two days and get mad at bugs at glitches now present in game. Also in the meantime price might drop a little bit, but considering I can get it for around 18$ right now, the decrease won't make much difference.
