'Stick together Team'

They should make that a radio command.
'wait for me' or 'follow me' does not quite get the job done imo.

only problem is... saying 'stick together team' means 'hide in a corner where the zombies wont spawn' (in a group). Happens on every map. I think there needs to be more zombie spawn-points (the ones you cant block, like the desks that zombies climb over from a spawn point) to prevent this and to make people move around a bit more. No I do not hate team work, I just hate doing wave after wave in the EXACT same spot. Mmmk? Team-work on the run :D

Play the new maps.
They're good at that.

I rarely team up with players anymore unless ive seen them before and have a track record of how they fight. It's just way too much hassle. Either they are slow at reacting or they really secretly want you to die.

I usually get back at the by clearing the floor and holding onto vital cash that they need to purchase their ammunition and weapons. :D

Funny because the other players are probably evaluating you.

Your behavior indicates you are not a team player so they make no effort to assist you. You then interpet this as them not being team players and so it goes.

May I suggest being a good team player even when the rest of the team sucks? Who knows you might teach them how it's done!

I am a good team player - I just said that I pair up with people that have a track record of being reliable. When I give people a chance they play like a bunch of moppers, 95% of the time - slow to react, slow cover someones back when they see them getting jumped. The only time I die is when I'm looking out for these people.

I was on a Normal server with some utter noobs the other day. When I say "noob" I mean one guy mentioned it was his first map ever and everyone had to be told what the push-to-talk key was.

Then...they kicked ***.

All were so new to the game that they blindly followed directions to the best of their abilities (they didn't know what else to do). They also *communicated*, asked questions, asked for help when needed, and offered help to others when they could. The result was a bunch of 0-level chars clearing 10 waves and killing the patriarch with few if any deaths.

I would play with those guys again in a heartbeat. Twas a blast.

I've also seen a stack of level 4-5 guys who rocked as individuals but couldn't get past wave 6/10 without wiping.
Agreed, playing with newbies is awesome. Back on the free week end when i tried the game out, all the newbs were kicking *** while the level 5s were moaning about us freelancers stealing kills.
Newbies follow orders. Old farts think they can rambo it 24/7 and then blame the team when they die.

Some people always think they can go rambo with new powerful weapons and ended up getting mob by crawlers and clots... even a level 1 guy could survive better.

Funny... This is actually true. First timers seems to be better than the "lvl5-pro-uber-pwnzors". These "noobs" communicates and sticks together, while lvl5 thinks he's so cool and pro he rushes alone and fails at wave 6 or somewhere around that.

I agree so so sooo very much. I'm about 5 days new to this game, and I am noticing more and more that there are those typical 'I am almighty in every thing I do, SEE YA!' douchebags out there, that could give a hoot about their team.

Team Play

Team Play

I can't stand by and read this and not reply.
I agree to some of everyone ones points, but I have ran into this before with players in my server who feel they are bringing more to the team then anyone. So rather then being a team player, they decide to go and "solo" the rounds. Or at least attempt to until their health gets low then they usually run back to the group for assistance. Then run off again when the mobs thin out or their health is back up.. haha, but those guys are leet tho right. Fact of the matter is, you may be good, but your part of a team, and as a team your only as good as weakest player on your team. Face the facts. If all 5 out of 6 ppl pull out their knife in round 10 and die in the beginning of the round. There just isnt enough ammo to finish the round. It may have been possible with the zerker before and there is a chance with a really good medic, but I dont think so. Play as a team or GET OUT. All your doing is showing how much of a nub you are by running off like that. I feel I am a good player, but even I know I have to stay with the team and fire at the targets that my class is made to take out (depending on weapons). Could just be me, but like I said, I couldn't just read this and not reply
