Were you searching on Wikimedia? I believe the Bundesarchiv releases its material only to them. I found a lot of awesome, pretty good quality images from there.

TWI on the other hand doesn't have to prove anything because it is their game and they can do what they want. From a purely historical view LemoN is kinda right that you can't proof its absence.
