I'm tempted to buy the whole package. Hitman was fun, for sure, I'm just not sure it holds up so well anymore compared to today's games.
Blood Money should. The rest of them I doubt it. BM is improved in lots of ways anyway. I would just get that.
Yay finally got the peninsular war dlc for Napoleon TW as well as the dlc for Empire with the native american tribes! Watched the last of the Mohicans and War & Peace about a month ago (for the 100000th time) and gone nuts for that era again . Anyway, I have spent almost 40 euros in this sale and considering that I didn't want to spend anything at all it is quite sad but at least this year I bought games I will definitely play. All in all though, I dont feel like I saw anything REALLY interesting that is missing my library at extremely low price this year, except for the witcher but I think it has been on sale quite a few times and I just missed it.
. Anyway, I have spent almost 40 euros in this sale and considering that I didn't want to spend anything at all it is quite sad but at least this year I bought games I will definitely play. Hitman: Blood Money is a pretty cool game. The other games are nice too, but didn't age as good. But for
Well I'm not a huge scifi fan let alone scifi space dramas so I'm more into it for the gameplay. It's pretty fun so far but the combat is getting stale quick. Every battle is pretty much the same. It's usually an outdoor plaza with lots of random boxes to jump behind for cover. Then all you do is pop up fire, use special power, pop up fire, use special power, fire.....repeat until everyone is dead. Plus the mini-puzzles like hacking and the circuit board got old after the first few times. So for 10 bucks it's entertaining but I'm really not seeing why it has gotten massively high scores.
The main story kicks in after halfway through of the game, so things should get much more interesting after that. But really ME2 is the weaker of the two, but it's still scored really high because it does continue very interesting story which you can craft a little by choices you have made. It's like watching Lord of the rings and say last movie was the best, but you woudn't watch them invidually or miss the first or second movie so you score them all as a big chunk of awesomeness.
I think both ME1 and ME2 are equally great. It's an action RPG, not a deep / hardcore RPG, which is a big advantage for me as I hate micromanagement. The combat missions are linear, true, but exploring the galaxies isn't. Overall a great game with a good storyline, good characters and dialogue, fun biotic powers... good stuff, really enjoying ME2. They've done so many things right with this series.
