yeah - at a risk of repeating myself, PR is class - in no small part down to the attitude that (generally) the regulars show.
Get in a decent squad and your going to have a tactical experience that you seldom if ever find anywhere else.

But that said i think the steam price is too much for this game - it must be cheaper retail wherever you are and then you're not wasting money if your not into it.

Oh and as we were discussing FH2 for BF2 i re-installed it to check out the normandy maps.
There's a mind boggling amount of content for this mod, and the NAfrica maps - particularly Tunis - are really impressive. The weapons are more realistic than vanillia BF2, kind of a half way house between BF2 and PR i guess.

The classic Commandos games are really cheap now. I haven't played Commandos 3 but 1, 1XP and 2 were very good games.
Painkiller Black Edition and Overdose are very cheap too. I have only played the original up to now, but it was a very fun game. Should be worth it.

Two other great deals are Jade Empire and Knights of the Old Republic. Both very good role playing games.

Yeah it's really awesome, but after like 10h it started go get boring because you have to do all the same races over and over again.

Go faster...

Why not just plug the pad to your PC? better graphics, higher resolution and better fps = even more win.

Yeah, and take your desk and chair and move it to the kitchen while you move your couch in front of your PC while you play Burnout for an hour. Then move everything back to how it was if you want to do something else on your PC again.

But I love my PC and I want to have baby's with it.
I don't have a sofa, only a comfy chair and what's more I don't have a Play3 and if I did I would have already broke my third rumble pad.

So I'll just stick with what I got and pump up the candy a little more.

Not much that interests me in todays offers on Steam.

Okay. It's turn 200. Scotland, Hungary and Spain are long gone. I took Jerusalem, but then a Jihad escorted me out of the Middle East. I dunno, maybe it was the tea and crumpets *shrug*. The evil Danishes have it out for us, but we're holding them off rather nicely indeed. Gunpowder really made the game take a turn. The boats are now sailing for the black abyss.. aka 'The New World'. Definately worth 5 bucks...

Max Payne 1 and 2 are on sale, $2.49 each or $3.74 bundled. Never played #1, but Max Payne 2 is definitely worth this deal.

Yea, you can play as Scotland... I found it weird (and a little disappointing) that you cant play all of the factions, only a handful of them.


The Danes, I swear... with their half arsed attempts at a 'war'... You gotta give it to 'em, they just dont stop trying. Listen, I've fought the Timurids, ever heard of them? Elephants with cannons on their backs. Yea, Timurids. You guys are like kids on tricycles compared to them. Knock it off already...

I cant wait to finish up this current game and start a new campaign. I have a much better idea now of how I want to build things up. Maybe I'll try playing as Spain next time since they were the first ones knocked out of the current game I'm playing.

What is this? Wasn't TW already on sale, 25% off from HL1(last year it cost 0,99$), Street Fighter 4 has had 50% off sales from every distributer imaginable throughout the year, no one plays multiwinia anymore, Shattered Horizon was already 25% off...

Hopefully there happens some price fix again, I really want that Shattered Horizon, but only 25% off is really weak.
