Stats username and password

When I try to join a server, it's asking me to set a stats username and password and takes me back to the options page, but their doesn't seem to be any option to "tick" in either the profile of the settings?

Seems UT stats are on in some servers. These need to be turned off.

Seems like the majority of servers have them.

But..I can't join any anyway. My screen goes blank for a while, I get the joining and then nothing else happens.

We'll hunt around for servers with stats off.

I'm getting the stats thing on most servers and see no options to create stats.

When I create a server myself for my friends to join they get the stats message. I see no option when creating a server about stats so how do I take it off when I create a server?
