This is one of the best news since the release. The game will be fixed and the stats reset so playing is once again somewhat meaningful (though no stat at all was not bad).

Today is always a good day to day.

Not happy with this.
May perma-quit the game over this.
What about those of us that logged alot of hours eh? Do we get ANY recognition ?

I have about 70 hours logged so far. -.-

You"ll get recognition after the reset. You currently don't have it so it's a good thing.

For casual gamers that like to go outside, losing weeks worth of grinding for unlocks they didn't want in the game? -- I'd say, yes, yes it's more than needed.

hrhr, there seems to be a contradiction there somewhere :)

For those that enjoy leveling wouldn't this be good news? Now you get to level, and level... and level some more. And your stats will actually mean something now... That would be nice wouldn't it?

Gentlemen, thank you for all your devotion to excellence and for listening to your customers who regularly play and love RO2, myself included.
May I be so bold as to make one suggestion and I am not sure it should even go on this post. So what ever, here goes:
Your video demo's for RO2, IMHO, are lame. They consistently show shooting and killing. We know that is the nature of the game, but there is so much more to excite in RO2. Remember when Crysis was first introduced? It was the incredible environment that was highlighted and not just the shooting. RO2 has that beat, but it is not highlighted for the world to see. For example, walk on the fourth floor of the grain elevator; the lighting effect is incredible! Watching shadows play off your weapon as you move through Pavlov's house and other details, such as tank treads, all demonstrate how RO2 has raised the bar graphically besides setting the highest standard for realism. Please accept this suggestion in the spirit it was meant. You all have done a fantastic job and I just want others to see it and appreciate it.

What I think they should do; let marketing be for what it is, while they continue fixing the game. Dragging in more people in right now might not be a good strategy. Once the game is fixed up and good to go; let the quality speak for itself. Possibly a demo, maybe a few free weekends, sale here and there. That kind of thing. I still believe a solid community can be build for the game, if they approach things right.

Quite right, only for those with proper access which is still a large number of people right now.
Are the rest of us not allowed to see the post though? Like can't you give us a copy paste here, Zips?

Why werent the stats reset after the beta btw? I still had the same stuff in the retail game, poorly executed TW!
