System:

OS: Windows XP (32 bit)
Processor: Dual Core Athlone 2.00 GHz
RAM: 4 GB (DDR 2) (Well actually, as i have 32 bit OS it is only 3.25 GB but that should be enough)
Graphic Card: NVidia GeForce 8600 GT (512 mb video RAM)
Sound: Windows Supported Sound Card
DirectX: DirectX 9.0c
Hard Drive: First is 160 GB seagate's barracuda, Second is 500 GB westerndigital.

I know it is not as strong as some people have, but it runs smoothly most of today's games on high or even very high settings with no problem but i have hard times playing RO2 on it. FPS sometimes drops to unplayable 10-15 and i can't understand why. I tried all possible tweaks and settings combinations, but seems it have no effect on performance at all. The game runs with avarage FPS 20-24 (and drops to 14 on open territories) and it does not matter im playing on high settings either on low. By the way even on my notebook the game runs with low FPS too (avarage 24) but perhaps it isn't drops to 10-14 and gameplay looks much smoother. My notebook only have RAM DDR 3 not DDR 2 and windows 7 instead of XP. That is abnormal.

BTW i'm not running on low since it barely affects on performance, so ill attach screenshot with my settings (also i have depth of field OFF in .ini).

Description to .log file:

Map: Station.
Players: 60
Im standing in ruins of the house (right side from the spawn location) and looking through the window in direction of that big station building. The FPS is something like 16-18.

PS: BTW when on the map no players or just few FPS is much higher and could be even 28-30.

And here is log from my Notebook:
Model: HP G62-a15er
Processor: Pentium Dual Core 1.88 GHz
Video: ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 HD
Memory: 3 GB RAM DDR 3
Hard drive: 500 GB hard drive
OS: Windows 7 32 bit.

Same map, same location, same settings (depth of field also OFF, only resolution is 1366x768 instead of 1280x1024) performance is pretty low, but perhaps it is more stable and as a result - gameplay looks more smoother

The patch made the game run alot smooter and I tought everyting was fixed for me until I was playing for a while and it started to slowdown on pavlovs.

perfdump is taken in to russian side of point D. Specs are in the quoted post from last time.

Ever since the release the game ran bad, during the last beta patch it ran fine.

Settings on medium at 1280x1024.(same as beta)
The game set it on medium its self at a weird resolution so the only thing changed is the resolution. Lowering the setting doesnt have a noticeable effect.

PC Specs:
Windows 7 32bit,
4 GB DDR3 ram
AMD Phenom II X4 955
ATI Radeon 4870 512mb

Log taken on Barracks.
Grid D3 north of the building in the same grid, looking directly to the east.
Server was running VAC but no PB, around 64 players.

EDIT: cant seem to upload the file cause its to big.

The latest patch decreased the game's performance for me. Before that the game ran very smooth and was fun to play. No I have to battle the fps drops...

My specs:

Intel Core i7 960 @ stock speed 3.2ghz (Hyper-Threading enabled)
8 gb Ram
GeForce 560 1 Gig not overclocked
Windows 7 64 Bit Prof.

Latest patch hasn't improved performance for me. It's very much the same I'd say. I was just playing for some hours and it seemed like the game had a memory leak because it was running just awful. I turned down ever in-game settings I could without restarting and it just ran bad. I made 2 perf dumps I think. I alt+tabbed to check task manager and saw RO2 using ~2.2gb of memory and 33% cpu. When I tried to alt+tab back in it crashed.

File is too big so here's dropbox link. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7822180/Launch2.loghttp://dl.dropbox.com/u/7822180/Launch2.log

I hope these logs mean something because I'm still disappointed with my framerate in this game.

I7 920 @4ghz
6gb ddr3
5870 (2gb)
Win7 64

ps this time I tried playing with hyperthreading off and steam community off. Made no difference.

@IlPalazzo

I will quote PUTZ at this point:

"Try deleting your ini files in documents\mygames\redorchestra2\rogame\config"

Maybe this can help. A quick look at your huge logfile tells me that the game faces some initializing problems with various things on your machine.

Just try deleting the ini data files, so they can rebuild themselves and you probably get the chance to start with a fresh engine.ini .

If that doesn't help, pray.

My performance wasn't good before the update, and has only gotten worse since. Low fps on all settings and allot of shuttering/hitching. It seems since the update after about 5-10 minutes into a round the performance begins to noticeably decrease. Also, some automatic weapons, like the atv and especially the ppsh cause the game to shutter when fired. Ill include a perfdump from station.

Specs:
OS: vista 64
cpu: Phenom II x4 940 3.00ghz
gpu: XFX HD Radeon 6870 1GB
ram: 6 gb ddr2 800

Yes, try again.

There are plenty of these messages in your logfile:

"[0027.42] Error: Requested localized string setting 4 was not found"

What's your games' language? If u play not in english, try to set this. Other language files are corrupted at this moment.

Well I deleted all the stuff under 'my games' ro2 folder. I'm playing English language. My game just got bad again. I was forced to quit because the sound was cutting out, my ping shot over 500 and my fps got low. Game just kept getting worse by the minute.

I7 920 @stock 2.8ghz this time
6gb ddr3
5870 (2gb)
Win7 64
