Playing a good squad leader and having a high K/D ratio are not mutually exclusive. ...
The whole mobile spawning point thingie doesn't work for me as squads are poorly implemented and you've got no way of knowing if you're a viable spawn point.
It seems that your play style isn't suited to being a mobile spawn location, which is exactly my point: if you want to be a good mobile spawn point you have to stay out of sight hence rubbish K/DR. To fix this SLs need to know when the next spawn cycle is due so that they can at least lay down some fire between intervals.

Had a great lol moment the other day, but as always in triumph I forget to SS :(. The left mouse button just broke on me so until I had the chance to buy a new one, I had to rebind fire and iron sights to the middle and left mouse button. It was quite hard to adapt, my first round I was second on my team in points and had 0 kills :IS2:

QUESTION: I saw it mentioned on the forum somewhere that SLs and the TL cap zones faster than your average cannon fodder.

I mentioned this in one of my in-server exhortations for people to actually fill up the SL slots, only to be shouted down.

So, is it true or false?

An easy way to solve this is to spawn everyone with bolts. To upgrade to assault, you would have to earn it by actually assaulting and capping. This way assaulting players are rewarded for doing their job and rifleman can support without feeling the need to rush into CQ. This would quickly train new players how to play the game. :)
