standardized naming system

i'm sure i'm not the only one who gets annoyed by this.

now obviously thats exaggerated a tiny bit

but i'm thinking we should have some sort of standardized naming system.
kind of like for more games DM stands for deathmatch

so for:

survival: SUR or SRV
endless: EL or NE(never ending)
this ones obvious: beta: B
fun: well this one is plenty short as is.
base defence: BD
mission: MIS, MS, or just M
etc.

those are my recommendations but i dunno guys and gals, whad'ya think about this whole thing?

There is a system in place that some mappers already follow.

survival: [SV]
Endless: [EW]
Mission: [MM]

no really, its cool if ppl want to have a naming system, but its your map so do whatever you want.

I approve of this idea! At least it'll give us a quick way to categorize maps without having to look through threads for screenies or play the map because the original mapper never thought to document the build.
