Stalker Only Servers

There isn't. It's greylisted, though - they're using their perks, but they can't level them. They're just wasting time, really.

I have played on those servs, on Suicidal, you can indeed perk up Commando extremely fast, maybe i killed 200-300 stalkers before feeling guilty and leaving.
The mutators are grey-listed, but apparently there's some other way for servers to replace all specimens, I came across an all FP server the other day where a couple of firebugs were levelling their perks by abusing a map exploit.
I've noticed quite a few players recently whose skill level doesn't match their perk level shall we say, so I'm guessing the recent influx of players has brought in a load more noobs who think higher level perks is going to make them not suck at the game.

Do you remember the IP address or server name? I find this hard to believe, especially after the update.

If you dont want to believe it is fine, but they exist. I have seen the Stalker's one 4 or 5 times, and another one with just Scrakes on Waterworks.
I've played on a stalker only server which was before the latest update. I did notice that when playing it I did seem to level up my stats but when I left the server and checked in my profile they hadn't counted.
Probably how the greylist works, just doesn't add it to you total.
These servers annoy me since quite often they will be only one suicidal server that isn't full and its one of these type servers where its only 1 specimen.

Lets clear this up.
There is no server variable that can be changed to spawn only stalkers. The map and code dictate spawn behaviour.
Thus to achieve this a mutator is needed. Which unless whitelisted (it's not nor has been(?) nor ever will be) Will NOT count to your levels, you may see them go up while in the game. But it will not stick. The perk will be reset.

Let me clear this up.
There ARE servers that run Stalker only, and they DO level up your perks, and they DO stick after you've left the game.

Well, if anyone finds these servers again, just PM a Mod with info. It should be dealt with shortly then.

Frankly I wouldn't want it "dealt with". Playing the game should be about more than levelling up. Whoever says killing x thousand stalkers is anything but a grind is simple in the head.
I don't play commando, and I never will, because at the low level mine is at it's useless on the higher difficulties I'm used to playing on. The only way to get it to a useful stage is grinding, which I'm not prepared to do.
A pity, because I'd like to try it out and not be a waste of space on the server. If I ever come across a stalker-only server I will be suffering no pangs of guilt whatsoever...

Yup... they exist. I joined a HoE one accidently. I decided to play it because I was already there and it looked funny. The Patriarch was also replaced with a Stalker. When we won I got an achievement. Still have it right now. It was leveling perks aswell.
I remember the server was untitled so it made it impossible to find again when I wanted to make a thread about it.

Ive already send the IP for one of these servers to a Dev like a month ago, dont think theyve had the time to solve it.
