I cant really remember how in RO1 you could setup a mg in the back at B with the no roof rooms and just blast at everything that comes from the allies main spawn.
Better access to high ground... true, but the attackers don't have to go anywhere near that high ground. It's so bloody easy to just walk in the cap and just sit there, and cap. Maybe toss some nades up, for the fun of it.
The problem is too many people try to push further/higher than they have to.
Even if you sit the whole attacking team in the safe parts of A, you still then have to clear out the germans to move onto the next objective.
Doing that isn't actually THAT challenging sometimes. But when (as is often the case) you've got serious entrance-camping going on in the left entrance, and the right side cargo doors, you tend to find too many of your team die to just a few germans to be able to clear the objective.
I agree a few simple tweaks might make the difference with this map. It's mostly a pretty good map, just with a couple problems mostly at A
Well you may be right, it may not be designed for 64p but I don't know any popular servers that aren't 64p. I'd quite like to play on one, but there just arent any, unless you're in a clan or something.
So having said that, the map needs to be able to play on 64, because 64 is sadly (but undoubtedly) the standard server size. If 64 causes issues, change something!
