Summary: The spectator can view the boss on 1st person.
Description: It happened when I was spectating player on 3rd person, once the boss spawned, the camera went to him to hear his message (like it usually does).
After that, it started viewing the boss on 1st person instead of returning to player.

It's kinda cool to be honest, it only bothered me when the boss died while viewing him on 1st person it didn't show his body falling.
