I'll not name them but is there any way server admins could reduce the amount of Admin messages auto appearing..

Some servers are ridiculous in the amount scrolling up its impossible to see normal messages

Personally, I wish servers would just stop with all the admin messages. It's hard to stay immersed when you see:
"Fight hard and be a team!"
and
"We are newb friendly"

Can't we just read the Message of the day????

Agreed, I don't know who initially thought players may want a constantly streaming essay to read while they try and play, but they need to stop please.

It's like a hi-fi system with flashing lights, totally pointless and only gets in the way.

Server admins can set the messages to display less often. We have ours set at 45 seconds between messages. It is far from disruptive.

As to the other suggestions, the problem for a server admin is that if we do not scroll our server rules (for instance), then I (as an admin) spend all the time I should be enjoying the game explaining our specific rules over and over again. When they scroll by then guys will see them and that makes an admin's job far easier.

Originally I had wanted to put them on the MOTD page --- however we are limited to just a very few lines there with limited characters, so that doesn't work.

In closing, if you are a community/clan that desires a more tactical style of play in your server (as we do), then the scrolling messages are extremely helpful. And seeing a message every 45 seconds is not horrible disruptive. I will say that once mod tools are released and mods are a reality, then many of our 5-6 "rules" will come down because the mod will make the violation of many of these specific rules impractical and or useless to the player.

I hope that makes sense.

It is not a problem for me, I never even notice when they come up. Even when my team is trying to tell me "Don't go around that corner!". I never read it, you can to with only 3 easy payments of $74.95!

At least they only appear where the normal text appears in this game...

I was playing BF:BC2 yesterday, found a server which had rules which flashed in big text in the middle of the screen... over and over... for the whole game...

If its basic game advice or rules I can learn to live with it.What gets me is the random pointless stuff put in to trying to be funny gets old really fast.

"Wash your hands before going to work"
"Pie is good"
"STFU and play the game"
"The center of the universe is bacon"
"Tkers will be visited by Chuck Norris"

the list goes on ...
