[Error] Sound is lost

Title of the forum Thread - sound is lost in game

1) Me and my friends have noticed that after a few rounds 4-6 that sound will glitch out and get lost all together

This bug results....

Reproducibility: seem to happen after a certian amount of game play

Summary: sound is lost

Description: well like i said sound gets lost sometimes just the right firing gets lost most time total sound gets lost and when that happens the only sound you will hear is the music, it will start off with like a single shot not heard but eventually it will be total loss and the only way to get sound back is a total restart of the game tried to exit server and it didnt work.

Online/Offline: only online

i get the same problem, but it was about 2 or 3 rounds. kinda annoying -_-

Same thing, the funny thing is that I could still hear the distances sounds of things.

Only happend once in fallenfighter.

Perhaps it's related to grenades demping the audio?

i don't hear grenades most of the time either. unless they're right next to me.

I have this bug too. I run my sound through hdmi out on my graphics card into my cinema system. After a while the sound goes completely and does not come back till I restart.

Has happened to me also, once after a few rounds of play.

My sound card if it makes a difference: M-Audio Delta 1010LT.

I had this last night about 4 minutes into the game. Restarted the game and it did it again. This morning I played for 4 hours without it occurring.

I've had this twice so far in several hours of gameplay. Both times the sound dropped right when I respawned. Disconnecting and reconnecting to the server fixed it both times.

Had this happen ever since the last batch of maps and the update. I have onboard sound, Realtek Audio. Only seems to happen during a map change. I'll hear an audible "pop" from my speakers like my sound is being re-initalized or something.

This exactly. Same onboard sound and exact same thing happens!

I think a simple 'reconnect' in the console works aswell.
