It would be nice if you could look read off something like a tank ID number painted on the side of the tank turret (I think they had these), so you could communicate to the guys in that tank. Obviously, the guys in that tank would hopefully know what tank number they have.

I suppose in relaxed realism mode, you could just have the green labels over the tank.

The reason for this is I often hear "T-34, you Panzer IV on your right!" But there are a bunch of T-34's, so I don't know if that's directed at me or someone else.

what i would love to see is that the numbers on tanks are truly different per tank. So you can look with your binocs and see the tank number.

And make the crew inside a tank see his own tank number. that way you can call out to a certain number of a tank.

yeah that or based on spawnlocation of the tank. I mean all tankers generally seem to have binocs anyway so they can easily spot a number on a tank.

just so ppl know what tank they are in... have the number over the little tank damage HUD thingy... but small... like a little 14 or whatever above it or next to it... whatever looks good

And the "heroes" get a big bright yellow number 1 on the side of their tank.
I'll just take number 13 every time, save any argument over it.

I really think at the very least have each tank with it's own individual ID tag, whether it be static or randomly generated...
