Something missing

I miss the situation where you are in a desolate house/building surrounded by grass fields or forest or streets, it has several storeys and one entrance, and you have to kill zombies from any of the windows on any floor before they break in. You could also weld doors to the room you are in.

So the zombies spawn only outside the building and come to it.

Is there any such map?

Yes. There is. I played it the other day. I think maybe it's called Swamp? There's a big Manor and everything spawns outside.

I mean, I know one exists but someone else can probably give a name for it.

kf_marshes is pretty much exactly that.

Once they get into the House you really don't have much in the way of room to move around.

Manor is a map where you can do this. Kingshinobi's Ganja(spelling?) Farm offers a barricaded farm you have to defend. There was another map- Last Stand I think - that was a take on the Last Stand zombie flash game. The last two aren't quite what you are looking for, but they kind of fit in the defensive type maps. There was another map, in the Competition Maps I think, that did z-axis fighting...


Marshes(or swamp) is kind of limiting for the amount of room you have.

I think creatures spawn inside the house on Manor.

Marshes is what I was thinking of.

It might have changed with the update for more aggressive spawns (or I could be remembering from the mod) but I think you can weld about 3 doors and completely seal off the main room of manor and still shoot at specs outside from the top floor.
