Hello guys, just wanted to throw a vid of part of my team playing HoE with 2 random people we picked up the other day. We are starting to get HoE, and we are starting to beat it without using boring door zerkering.

Anyone who might be struggling with HoE on Outpost, you might find this useful (we get into a scary situation and handle it pretty well I think); it starts at wave 8.

EDIT: We like to hold up at the cars; we have 1 zerker, 1 medic always. I like to go FB at the moment. We will trade the zerker and put him at the lane the FPs are at every time. If there is only a scrake or two, I can take one if needed while the zerker takes the other lane's scrake.

Good video.

I like to hold at the same spot. I'll probably be doing HoE pretty soon, getting bored on sui a bit recently. I've done a few HoE games before and did pretty well, but on my days off it's too fast to just relax and sip a beer on, sui is about perfect pace for fun enough and just fast enough.

The zerk carrying a backup MW gun seems like a good idea. I probably use a nailgun too much to do that, though.

Thanks :) The extra microwave gun makes a huge difference. The current ammo it holds is very limited when playing a 10 wave game. If you only used it for the 2 sets of double fps / scrake combo that hit you in wave 10, you'd already run out.

The cars is a really nice hold up spot, because it allows for kiting the larger zeds into the center while someone still holds the lanes. That way, you don't get extra over flow hitting the zerker(s) /medic(s) dealing with the double fp / scrake. If things get rough and you have a MW gun, you usually can blast through a section to get up the hill somewhat safely.

I usually hold the back section, the close range is great for a nailgun on single shot, trash headshots all day. Even zerking, I always call out sc and fp, and block and hit them with pulv to keep them busy while the team kills it. This works good even if your team is stuck with somewhat inferior weapons.
