Softimage XSI mod tools and killing floor

so i'm thinking of learning how to model stuff for use so i can make much more diverse levels for killing floor atm the current model/texture bank for killing floor is lacking....

anyways i was wondering if softimage XSI mod tools would be good for making models, and that my roomy wants to learn it also for half-life.. so what are your thoughts?

i hope someone hasn't already posted something about this.. i searched

I guess it's all down to the plugin you use with it that can be used to export the right file type you need to get into the UDK. But i dunno, I'd ask on the UDK Forums. Whatever answer they give you should be applicable to modding KF.

got me but i've tested it up to 30,000 tiangles with 3 textures and it works.

also it was just to see if it'll export i didn't actually make that 30,000 triangle 3 texture object for use.

hang on this is mod tool not full paid XSI? ive got loads and get mixed up..cant even remember which one im using at the moment... you exported a 30k model with which version?

free xsi mod tools version 7.5 with the version 5(well the 5-5.1 download) actorx exporter
