So how did you fix it? I just, I've been trying to fix this forever but I just haven't been able to find a solution, I tried that with deleting and redownloading kfintro.rom like you said but that doesn't help. So could you please tell me how you fixed it, or did just deleting kfintro.rom and redownload it work for you?

I'm not sure if you saw his other thread, yet, but the fix was to change the Download Region in Steam. Apparently some files are corrupt in the California region.

Seems it's more than just the california regions. It's random regions all over that are having the problem. Also my fix seems to be fixing more than just the connection hang, it's fixing perks not advancing, no servers showing up whatsoever, the connection hang, and issues with crashes and load times. One of my friends was getting >2min load times and tried it and then their map loaded in 10 seconds.

Deleted the hole system folder und redownloaded it by steam
