There are always servers that are full with 64 players. There doesn't have to be 30000 people online just to have fun. Seriously, stop posting these threads. No one likes whiners. A mod should lock this thread soon...

Having a look at steam stats, max concurrent players today is just over the 1k mark.

Kind of disappointing, I bought the game on release and left after a bit to let tripwire sort out the game's problems and now it's pretty much over.

Dunno 1000 People would be like 15 Full 64 Servers, seems enough for me to play since I can't play on 15 servers at the same time.

The problem is for less populated areas, two millions full 64 player servers in America doesn't help if there isn't a single one in Australia or whatever.
I don't have the issue as I live in Europe, but 1000 players online might mean there are 32 you can actually play with unless you fancy 400 ping.

Thats great if you like lagfests, now fill up some 32p servers and we can talk :p
I still remain that as long the bugs and annoying features stay with the game, it'll never get another big boost.

Performance is getting worse on some systems (as mine) and features like lockdown are still implemented.. .Hell even BF's conquest mode doesnt have a lockdown timer >_>

These threads were around when RO2 had daily peaks of around 500. Latest patch got us 200 more players per day. And the game wasn't dead even then.

Ahh, yaasss. The obligatory daily "game is dead" assertion. Let's see. How shall I respond today? If I sense sincere dissappointment, I could invite him to the collection of 64 bit servers I play on nightly, or.... I could just reassure the fellow that it is indeed dead, and point to our several Killing Floor servers as an alternative source of entertainment. Hmmm.

Also, I love how refreshing it is to see such a new prespective over the game as yours, it's the first thread like this I've seen arround the forum. Congratulations sir. :rolleyes:

The playerbase has been around 1000 for quite a while now, if anything it shows it is stable. New map released for testing yesterday, more to come etc.

I play it practically every evening and always find plenty of people to play with, so no, it's far from dead.
